Cullera’s monuments, scattered throughout much of the municipal district, show us the rich past of this town right from the prehistoric age, with a strong influence from the Islamic period. Restoration work has been carried out to turn the Castle into a museum, making it a cultural and tourist reference point, not only for the province of Valencia but for the Region as a whole. It is now home to the Cullera Museum of Archaeology and an exhibition about the restoration work itself.
