Beaches
Cullera boasts a long and exceptional stretch of coastline with exclusive beaches offering something to suit all tastes. Thanks to the Mediterranean climate, warm in summer and mild in winter, these beaches can be enjoyed all year round, with a whole host of leisure alternatives that combine fun activities by the sea with water sports, or just resting and enjoying the local gastronomy and nightlife. It has eleven wonderful beaches which can be enjoyed by everyone. You can choose from busy urban beaches such as San Antonio and Racó, to broad stretches of peaceful coast like La Escollera, or semi-urban family-friendly beaches with fine golden sand such as Marenyet or Brosquil, or you could have a go at water sports in Cap Blanc and even free diving by the idyllic beach of El Faro. Alternatively, you could choose El Dosel, with its sand dunes, or opt for the naturist beach of El Mareny de Sant Llorenç.
The quality of its waters and services, and the characteristics of the sand are endorsed by various environmental and quality certificates which accredit the good conditions offered and constant improvements being made, revealing an ongoing commitment to the attainment of excellence.
Cullera’s beaches pioneered the implementation of a certified management system based on the ISO 14001 standard and EC Regulation EMAS in the year 2001. Since November 2004, it has been implementing systems based on the ISO 9001:2008 and UNE187001:2008 standards (Q Playa San Antonio).
